1940s Gruen Chrono-Timer
This vintage Monopusher Gruen Chrono-Timer is from the 1940’s and is truly special. Single pusher chronographs are already special, but this two-tone Base-30 dial, which is absolutely breathtaking from all angles, makes for an extremely rare combination. The dial is absolutely perfect and untouched and will constantly catch the eyes of all around it. Additionally, this case is stepped with the most gorgeous lugs from the Art Deco period, immersing the wearer’s experience in the 1940s!

Features: A very Art-Deco design, with lugs reminicent of the Chrysler Building in New York City, and a STUNNING two-tone Base-30 dial with gold indicies. Outer dial features a base 30 Pulsations Scale for calculating Heart Rate. The chronograph functions are handled via a single pusher at the 4 o’clock position.

Condition: In overall MINT original condition. The dial is nearly perfect, and the hands feature only minor patina. The case is great with only some very minor scratches. The watch runs and keeps fairly accurate time (but has not been tested for accuracy) and the chronograph works as expected. As service history is unknown, a service is recommended at some point in the future.
