Vintage Bulova 13AH "Big Eyes" Chronograph w/ Valjoux 23
A classic piece of history from the 1940’s. This watch features a Chronograph with Rectangular Pushers, powered by the very-desirable Manual-Winding Valjoux 23. With a modest 32mm Stainless Steel case, this watch fits very comfortably on most wrists and harkens back to our grandfathers’s during the Second World War. Perhaps it only makes sense then that General (Later President) Dwight D. Eisenhower worse a similar reference (though with a black dial).
One other thing to note about this particular watch is how the hands have all turned this incredible, uniform purple. It’s hard to see on camera but is absolutely stunning in the sunlight andmakes this watch truly unique!
